We are delighted to announce
that as from January 2007 the organisers of the Isle of Wight International
Jazz Festival will be launching a new monthly Jazz Club at The Sandpipers

“Jazz at The Fatcat”
The new Jazz Club nights will be held on the last Friday of each month
throughout the year.
Major changes and upgrading will be made to the venue by the building
of a permanent stage, installation of a new state of the art sound
system with a new Kawai MP8 Stage Piano, new stage lighting and sound
enhancing decor thus providing a first class and much improved venue
experience.
This new Friday night Jazz Club venue will run in conjunction with
the very successful Jazz at The Boathouse and Jazz at The Towers,
which will continue to be held on the third Saturday and first Friday
of each month respectively.
In line with The Boathouse and The Towers, topline Jazz acts from
the mainland will be appearing each month throughout the year and

body of the venue.

Friends of the Isle of Wight International Jazz Festival can request
priority reservations of tables upon purchase of tickets. This is
a privilege that comes with membership. However, due to the nature
of the venue, table layouts may alter and therefore this privilege
is offered but not always possible to fully guarantee.
As the Jazz Festival organisers now run jazz nights in three venues,
membership of the Friends scheme entitles you to many benefits, including
up to a total of eight reduced admission prices on tickets during
the year for jazz events at any of the three venues.
For further details please contact the Jazz Office or speak to the
Jazz Festival organisers, who are to be found at all the events.
